About Grace

I am a NYC based stylist whose career started here in luxury apparel, as a women’s showroom stylist on Madison Avenue. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where I learned my keen sense for style from my grandmother and best friend; Honey Bee. Honey Bee’s husband, Victor Costa, was a designer that sparked my love for innovation through fabric, form, and pattern on the body growing up.

Living in fashion right off the bat after leaving the music industry in Austin, Texas, I was exposed to a world of opportunity for creativity not only working with clothes, but with people. As my career progressed, I tended to succeed in finding the most joy when I was dressing to be less conventional, and more for innovation.

I began an online education in Styling Foundations at FIT, and went on to Parson’s School of Design to study Fashion Industry Essentials since I couldn’t stop my desire for knowledge for styling after getting a taste in the showrooom.

I learned to love standing up against any standards of fashion, other than to the fact we put on what makes us feel best, look the best, and be the best for our own soul. My personal style is Retro-classic idiosyncrasy, (inspired by Annette Tapert and Diana Edmund’s “The Power of Style”). I do not ever shy away from any particular type of clothing, because just about anything can be interpreted as art, and beautiful, if in the right context.

I style to shed light on everything to be recognized in the right context.
